In 3dxchange and iclone 7 the normals imported correctly when you export an fbx with modified normals from blender
in iclone 8 and cc4 the normals turn back to the default state when you import the fbx with the modified normals
see the images attached...More

Let me start by saying that Morphs handling by Morphs Creator in IC8 has been improved.
For the most part importing OBJ files has been stabilized in many aspects.
There are however some critical issues which need to be addressed in both IC8 and CC4....More

If its a big alembic animated file (in my case around 1million verts) iclone cant save the project with the file in it and it crashes giving the message something about the memory
this issue was happening on iclone 7 too but it still remains...More

it works for a prop
i tried to apply some vertex animation to some parts of a non standard character but it doesnt import it
it shows that its been loaded but nothing happens, and the v.animation doesnt play as it should nor appears on the timeline...More

We can already create Presets in CC4, but we just need to be able to access those presets at Puppet & Edit Motion and Mocap time. These custom presets would need to be saved with the Character in CC4 and available to users in IC8 to be able to switch to any parts (Custom Presets) at any time...More
