When stretching a FFD/motion clip in time(making it's duration longer), the underlying keyframes are not interpolated correctly. The result is a stuttering motion instead of a clean interpolation.
For example when I make the FFD motion three times as long as the original, it does not interpolate...More

When you use springs on some bones, the output result differs when you hit play/stop vs scrubbing the timeline with the mouse. This bevhaviour is not really predictable and the feature therefore is not usable for production.

When you use the Alt+S feature to extend the duration of a motion clip, the animation is slower but it also looks like a stop motion clip afterwards. The interpolation of the underlying keyframes is not correct. The result looks jittery and unprofessional. You need to fix that....More
