It can be hard editing weights with the weight painter especially if you don't have your reference/skin textures showing.. they can often help/remind users where the limits of hard and soft should be - texture borders....More

While trying to sculpt Visemes and other morphs, it can be difficult to see what you've selected when using vertex mode, even sculpt mode.

In the 'hide body mesh tool' one can hide most of the body of a character. The exception is the head. While you can click on the face to hide the face, it leaves eyes the tearline, eyes, teeth, and tongue. This prevents us from adding the ability to easily have modular characters in unreal...More

I can create a body motion with facial animation in iC8 and then use it in CC4 but that doesn't help because I'm trying to create and test custom facial expressions.
So this is strange that we can use the facial editor with an existing animation in iC8 but not in CC4.
I'm using spring effects...More

Am informed that Character Creator4 is not backward compatible (at this time regarding Custom characters) and I am now required to save a duplicate character in another directory for CC4.
