SVG-Eyeball motion not working/possible only with PNG-File [Composer Mode]
Dear Dev-Team,
wish you a good new year.
I tried to animate the eye and the inner pupil/iris/eyeball separately in Composer Mode.
I created a "sprite-based head" and then imported the SVG eyes (white) and SVG pupils (black dot) in the head template in Composer Mode.
The animation works so far in "Facial Animation Setup" (Composer Mode), but only the eye completely (eye+pupil). That is, I can only animate the eye and the pupil at the same time - not separately.
The the example files from Reallusion, like the cat can move pupils - but I assume this animals are not SVG. If I insert a PNG file, then I can animate the pupil separately using e.g. "Mask Editor". That works, but SVG does not.
Also the "Eyes-Settings" icon is grayed out and cannot be changed with SVG-File. (check out screenshots).
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I have tried many ways. Currently the workaround would be to use a PNG file. But it should be possible to animate the pupil individually with SVG.
Dear Dev-Team,
sorry for this inconvenience. It was not working by creating the groups by myself, so I didn`t use the example file (because some problems with groups in inkscape).
Now it is working to move iris and also read again your pdf-tutorial about iris, eyewhite and eyemask.
This is a very important topic, maybe some of you have time to make some youtube tutorial about the eyes. I saw a lot tutorials about eye blinking, but not about moving iris.
So ticket could be closed. All is working fine. Thank you.
BR,
Brandy
