There is this 2D Platform Fighter called Smack Studio where it uses math to figure out how a 2D character would look like in rotation that you drew; is there a way Cartoon Animator could have that? Have all the angles in one rig and just rotate it as needed? I ported a character into their editor, and it made a back of the character for me based on the front with a few clicks; how is a *fighting game engine* from an indie company have a better turning tool than an animation company?
I attached two screenshots: one of the front of a character I use for my animations, and the second is what the Smack Studio editor created when I flipped it around. I didn't draw any of that; the game engine did that for me. The best part is that if I *could* draw more poses, the engine would have a much better pose to work with.
