ASIAGRAPH Reallusion Award 2018

The ASIAGRAPH Reallusion Award is one of the most important activities of ASIAGRAPH. This animation contest has been successfully held in Taiwan for the past 7 years. This contest officially evolved into a LIVE 3D animation contest which allows students around the world to gather in Taiwan and immerse themselves in a real-time 3D animation experience!

Largest Live 3D Animation Contest Around the World – To Break Limitations of Traditional Animation Tool.

The contest itself started since 2013 and became the world’s largest 3D animation contest by now. The contest includes local round and 48-hour final round.
In 2018, this contest reached an unprecedented level of achieving qualification round done in 13 sites in different countries; total 111 institutions, 250 teams and more than 700 students participated this event. In 2018, we would like to extend the event to worldwide scale by providing qualification round opportunities for the students from more different countries to join this animation competition. And the teams qualified for the final round will be to join the final competition to be held in Taiwan competing with winners from other countries.

Application Requirement

• You are a university or a college student (NO age limit). If you are considered a minor in your place of residence, then you will require a parent or legal guardian's permission prior to submitting an entry into this contest.
• You can join the contest as an individual or as a group. Up to three (3) eligible students may submit a single entry as a team. You/your team must list a contest advisor (the advisor has to be a school teacher).
• You cannot change team members or advisors after the submission deadline.
• If your Team is invited to participate in the final contest, then we will cover partial travel expenses for each registered team member (excluding advisor). Your team must send at least one member to compete in the final contest. If your team is unable to send at least one member for any reason, then we may disqualify your entire team and invite the next highest scoring team to participate.

Contest Process and Agenda

Qualification Round:

To participate in ASIAGRAPH Reallusion Award 2018 University 3D group 48-hr live final contest, you must register for 48-hr Live qualification round. Please contact with the regional contact in different area and make registration. The qualification rounds will be held around May 15th to June 30th. Depends on the different region requirements.

Final 48 Hours Live Contest:

The final Live contest will be held in August in Taiwan. The final winning entries will be selected by the ASIAGRAPH assigned judges and will be merited with ASIAGRAPH certificates and awards. Also, selected works will be announced publicly at ASIAGRAPH's official website before the end of September, 2018.

*Reallusion reserves the right to change or modify the conditions and agenda. The contest will be divided into qualification round and final round, All the entries are required to take part in the qualification round to qualify for the final round.

Qualification Round Standards for Entries

• No software limitation. ASIAGRAPH Reallusion Award 2018 is a paid entry contest. If you would like to register and use the Reallusion real-time animation software for the contest, then you may reach your regional contact to apply for a free copy of a time-limited copy of iClone and it's Essential Content Library.
• Animation work length: minimum of 1 minute – 5 minutes
• Animation work subject: Will announced on the first day of the contest
• Reallusion reserves the right to disqualify, without notification, submissions done in poor taste including content that is: offensive, defamatory, indecent, or objectionable
