After you edit any texture in your own image editor, you can immediately refresh the result in EarthSculptor with the Utility - Reload feature.
Take Colormap as an example, if you wish to produce a terrain with color pattern or words, the Paint tools can never achieve that goal. Utilizing an external image editor is the best solution.
Please access Utility / Explore in menu bar to locate the project file.
Open the <file name>_c.png in an supported image editor.
Edit the image and save.
In EarthSculptor, access Utility / Reload Textures and load the edited image. (for Detailmap, Colormap and Detailmap)
As for Heightmap, you must access Import / Heightmap image instead.
