iClone Failed to import Character Creator file
Good evening,

I am currently experiencing an issue where I can no longer import my Character Creator file into iClone.

For reference I am using Character Creator v4.2 & iClone v8.12

I have been successfully doing this all week with no problems. When opening the Reallusion hub I was prompted to update 'Character Creator' to version 4.2. Since updating Character Creator to v 4.2, I am no longer able to get my character model in iClone when using the 'Send to iClone' option.

My method is:
- Select my Character model in (CC4)
- Selecting File>Export>Send to iClone>Send to iClone (a pop-up opens up with the current export status) that appears to be working i.e. no error messages

Once it has finished exporting, I then click into iClone and then I get a few pop-up messages saying 'Failed to load the file.', 'Imported failed' & 'No standard/humanoid character is picked'


Are there any workarounds in which I can get my rigged characters working correctly in iClone? Or is there an update which will address my issue?

1
