A hard thing to do is a 360 character in 2d in 2d animation software, all 2d animation softwares struggle with that, I think one way to do it is mixing it with 3d features, I imagine 3d bones where you can rotate and manipulate them in a 3d space, where each bones has automatic draw substitution based in angle of bone itself and camera angle.
So if the character are standing at front, it check the camera position and show specific drawing for each bone, if I rotate the camera, the same bone change the drawing (defined by user) based on camera view. Same thing for arms and legs, if I turn the bones it check the angle and camera position to show the right draw.
On video, I show a exemple how it would be for arms. I know it is kinda complex feature, but I never saw something similar in any software and I just didn't want to keep that idea for my self. Thank you.
