WS Normal map export
Hello,

I am working with the Cargo Pants from the Professional Outfits pack for a project on CC3. I need to make them look similar to the ones from my client, so what I am trying to do is to change some colours a bit, add a logo, and some other smaller modifications. So far I haven't had any problems with that as I follow the tutorial on the product page.

But my question is: is there a way to export the WS Normal map to edit it in Photoshop? I want to remove/hide one of the side pockets, and it seems that there is some detail in that WS map that I can remove to make the leg look smoother and hide that side pocket to show the leg's seam. Or is there a folder from where I can grab it to edit it?

From the appearance editor the only active button is the Load one.

Thank you very much

Hi DiegoPabon,

1. Remove the map from the Normal channel first in the Appearance Editor.
2. Neutralize all Normal settings from the sections in the Appearance Editor.
3. Click the Upload Appearance Editor to flatten the maps.
4. Go to the Material Tab.
5. In the Normal channel, the map is the one from the WS Normal channel. Export it for further editing.
