Issue 11880
Suggestion for Adding Timeline Interpolation Conversion for Animation Blocking in iClone 8
iClone 8 has been an incredible tool for animation, but one feature that could significantly enhance the animation process is the ability to convert the animation timeline into stepped interpolation for blocking purposes and then easily switch it back to Bezier curves for refining animations.
Stepped interpolation is a critical step in animation blocking, helping animators focus on establishing strong key poses and timing before diving into detailed transitions. Currently, switching between blocking and refining stages requires manual adjustment of keyframes, which can be cumbersome. An integrated conversion feature would:
- Speed up the blocking process.
- Improve clarity in establishing key poses.
- Allow easy refinement with smooth transitions.
This would be a significant improvement for the animation workflow, especially for users who prioritize precision and timing in their projects.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and for continuously evolving iClone 8 to meet the needs of animators.
