Project file gets deleted if I don't choose to save when I select New Project.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create new project, do your work, save the project. 2) Modify the project without saving. 3) Select new project and choose not to save. 4) For whatever reason, the existing project is DELETED.
This might not happen every time but it has happened to me several times. I have lost so many projects due to this. There shouldn't be a single line of code that DELETES the previous project before starting a new one so I am mind boggled by this bug.
If I can figure out how to screen capture video, I'll try to record a session.

I can't seem to reliably recreate the issue, but it is happening to me frequently. Are you using Windows 11? Maybe it's the OS.

Hi dgaban,
Thanks for your feedback!
I did the steps that you posted, but I can't reproduce it though.
Could you capture a screen video to show me how you reproduce this issue?
Thanks for your help!

Reallusion.

Update: I found out how to replicate this issue:
1) create a new project, make any kind of character
2) Save it, use a filename like Character001.ccProject
3) In the same folder create a subfolder that matches the filename, so \Character001
4) Export FBX to \Character001, using same filename, so \Character001\Character001.fbx
5) Go back to project and try to save, the original Character001.ccProject will get deleted because the software is confused by the subfolder with the same name.
Platform: Windows 11
