3DXchange 6 runs out of memory when exporting 19,000 frame MotionPlus animation of 60k character
DESCRIPTION Trying to export 19,000 frame MotionPlus animation of 60k character, as FBX (animation only with Unreal preset). The program runs out of memory. I believe it hits the 32bit memory limit. As a result, the program must be forced closed through the task manager. 3DXchange should be a 64bit program like every other program in the suite.
================================================= STEP TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch 3DXchange 6 2. Import G6 Character Mason to program 3. Import a MotionPlus file with more than 20000 frames 4. Navigate to Modify > Animation > Motion Library, select the motion file and click "Add to Perform" button 5. Go to Export FBX panel, related settings as follows Target Tool Preset :GameEngine_Unreal Include Geometry:unchecked Sampling Rate: 60 FPS 6. Click to export
ACTUAL RESULT The program runs out of memory and must be forced closed through the task manager
EXPECTED RESULT The FBX file can be exported correctly
