I agree 100%. The ability to add custom rlmotion files is the way to go to improve that tool. It's very limiting for the potential power it could deliver.
I for one have never used this feature because all I have to choose from is the pre-canned animations, which never get me even close to what I'm trying to accomplish. In most cases I'm attempting to combine an upper body attack animation with a lower body run, jump or step forward animation. There is a tutorial video out there on how to get custom animations in the motion puppet profiles, which I did do in iClone 7, but it's way too cumbersome to be part of an efficient workflow when I'm working with many different animations. All they need to do to make this useful (for me at least) would be to add the ability to load custom rlMotion files from your library into a custom body profile and allow assign to a custom category.
