As Molly pointed out, the issue is much improved. I think UE made some changes in version 5.3.2. My issue was noticed during 5.3.1. In my humble opinion, CC4 characters still look 'off' in preview screens compared to placing them in a map. Notice a very abrupt border between skin that is hit by light, and skin that is in the shadow. Anyhow, lets call this one Solved, thank you.
Here is a link to a basic UE5.3 project I just created. It has 2 models, one with HQ Shaders, and one with Standard Shaders. It has the latest Auto Setup for Unreal Plugin. Only the HQ Shader model has the issue. And remember, it only happens when you are in the default UE5 preview screen for skeletal mesh files. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Lvy4Wy2Zs4bNmn36QNyYbitotGkuiP-C?usp=drive_link
