Hi doubblesixx, Thanks for your feedback! Please follow the following steps to set your character with motion. 1. Menu / File / Import / Select Ch15_Non_Pbr character.fbx 2. Menu / File / Import / Import External Motion 3. Select motionfile Walk_with_Rifle.fbx 4. It should pop up a dlg with Disable Motion Profile and Disable Motion T-Pose 5. Click Convert All 6. It should apply the motion to your character The reason why Luke said you have to use CC4, it because the fbx you imported in Step 1. It'll consider as Prop Type, if you want to characterize it, you have to use CC4 feature. And, that's a reason why you can't use the feature calls "Convert External Motion", this feature is designed for Humanoid character. Thanks, but that test is out of context towards the problem. The same import and the same conversion routine in both apps, but in IC8 it's all fake?.. Wow.. didn't expect that And that you strongly seemed to believe i didn't expect animations to work with a built in RL Character? Geez.. try better next time RL, this was not very impressive Ok, IC8 is showing the cracks in the wall, little by little.. so together with all crashes and odd things i have had to work around this weekend, your software now seems even less smart: If i own both IC8 and CC4 - Make this function work by a simple validation if CC4 is installed, then make IC8 get the same functionality to save my precious time having to open one or the other for such mundane tasks.. It can't be that hard
