Iclone Version 8.52 crashes in many occasions since the latest update
Iclone 8.52 also runs very unstable.

Like the latest version of CC4, Iclone crashes when loading characters and props, during file export and also by loading a saved project.

There is never an error message and it crashes again when trying to load the auto saved project.

I already uninstalled the app and installed a fresh version. But no improvement.

Hey Molly,

I deleted the path and reinstalled Iray. With the render settings panel active, the crashes still occur. When I close the panel as you mentioned, Iclone and CC run stable.

Thank you for your help.Because we can't reproduce the problem, we still need to figure out how to trace the cause.As a workaround,please close Iray Render Settings panel when you apply content.

Please uninstall Iray and delete this folder,then reinstall and try it again.
C:\Program Files\Reallusion\Shared Plugins\ICIrayRender for iClone 8 and Character Creator 4

If it still happens,please close Render Settings panel,reopen iClone and try it again.Thanks.

It seems, that the problem is caused by the iray plugin. I uninstalled the plugin and both apps seem to run faster and more stable. After reinstalling iray the apps crash again.

2. Uninstall Iray and confirm if this path is deleted:

Same issue. 
The last few updates during the last 2-3 months made iClone/CC almost unusable for me. 
It doesn't matter what new features are added when the software doesn't work.
Right now, iClone usually crashes when I try to import anything. The loading bar reaches 60% and says "Updating user interface." At this point, it has an 80% chance of crashing. This happens when I import anything.
