Currently iClone 8 has very big performance problems when editing animations.
The more animations there are in a project the more iClone becomes unusable.


Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Open iClone 8
2. Add a character, 'Motion Dummy_Male'
3. Create a clip from frame 0 to 180
4. Add 2-3 keys of arm or leg movement

At this stage iClone reacts quickly, switching to play/pause, moving an arm, takes less than a second

5. Change the TimeLine range to 40000
6, Copy / Past current clip every 200 frame to fill the TimeLine

At this stage iClone starts to become slow, switching to play/pause, moving an arm, takes several seconds

7. Remplace current actor with another actor ( Base/Neutral Male ) (or another one)
8. This operation take a long time.

Now iClone is very slow.

9. Create a new project
10. Add a real character ( Base/Neutral Male )
11. Take a clip from the library which is about 200 keys long
12. Change the TimeLine range to 40000
13, Copy / Past current clip every 200 frame to fill the TimeLine

Now iClone is very slow.

14. Delete all clips, except the first one
15. Use 'Sample Motion Clip' on the first clip
16. Copy / Past first clip every 200 frame to fill the TimeLine
17. Switch to play, pause, play, pause

Now iClone no longer responds.


Note. When working with a real project, containing a lot of clips and keys, it becomes impossible to work properly, any action takes a long time.
Note 2. The size of the iClone project is increased from 150Mb to 650Mb after step 7
Note 3: For steps 14 to 16, make sure you have time to spare :)
