IC 852 tends to place props at infinit distance and scenes completely disappearing
1- Depending on where you want to place a prop in a scene it appears very often at an infinit distance. Even you place it for example on or near the shoulder of a char or something. As higher you place it in the scene as farer away its placed. See attached image.
2- Also when rightclicking in a scene sometimes and moving things around all items disappear from the screen. There is no way to bring them back, "F" doesnt work anymore at all. Undo helps sometimes, the scene re-appears in a random distance.
3- A lightbulb that i have used in aproject became all over sudden invisible. also other objects that i have properly placed all over sudden appeared at infinite distance too.
Project has been overwritten severals times now, so attaching it wont make sense i guess..
Hello, thanks for answering. It appears that CC452 shows the same behave. I include a CC project that demonstrates the issue.
- Place a Wall or anything else on the grid
- Resize it to about the size as in the project
- Drag and Drop any prop, here flourescent lamp at the wall (position A)
- Drag and Drop any prop, here flourescent lamp at the wall (position B)
Note that position B becomes almost infinite (-99999999,999) . See image.
Note Position B is not above the Wall !
Note, the error i described in my first post above with scenes disappearing or Hotkey F not working anymore was a mistake,
this happens only when the prop at infinite distance is selected and you press "F", which i assume is a result of the prop
located out of reach. When manually resetting the prop to XYZ 0:0:0 or other coordinates in reach, "F" will of corse work again.

Hello K_Digital,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
This issue seems to be related to how the objects are being manipulated.
Due to the camera angle, it may appear that you are placing the object close to the character's shoulder, but from the program's perspective, it might have been projected to a far distance along the horizon.
If attaching the project file is not possible, could you provide a recording of your actions so we can better assess the situation?
Thank you!
Tina
