The problem is that I have a huge amount of project files in the IC7 version where I put the sound track in the character sound track , but I don't mean the viseme track, I mean the plain sound track. As there is no sound track associated with character in version 8, there is silence. I hope this feature is only temporarily missing.
In the meantime, I have found out the cause of the problem, so I can now give you accurate information. If I open an IC7 project in IC8 and look at the sound associated with the character, I can see the sound track and play it. When I load any character in CC4 and use the send to Iclone function to transfer the character to Iclone, the character in Iclone is replaced by the new one if the character is selected in. This is a good function, but the soundtrack for that character is deleted. I apologise for not giving accurate information the first time.
