Issue 593
Even with "viewport resolution" DOF renders differently in export.
I am testing the "Viewport Resolution" export for DOF.

When I just export the preview, I get what is on my screen (same as second attached image). So, I expected that. When I select "final" output, and enable super sampling and high quality shadows, I get much stronger DOF showing in the scene window during export (see first attached image), but the actual export is no different than the preview export.

The first image is captured from iClone during export, and the second one is captured from a frame of the playback of that video that was just exported. They should be identical, but are not.

Following this up a bit more.

The "super sampling" seems to be what gives the DOF the amount of blur I was hoping to get. During rendering, it is quite apparent in the scene window whether the super sampling is set to 3 (best), 2 (slightly blocky looking), or off (looks just like 2nd image above). But, despite exporting with the different settings, it seems the super sampling is not actually being applied to the exported file. It exports with no apparent super sampling applied.

I hope this can be double-checked, and it's not just me dreaming. :)

I'm running a GTX 770 with 368.81 drivers that were released a few days ago.

I think if we had a "blur amount" slider for DOF, it would be most useful.
