Iclone doesnt hang, the display window in iclone does. IT has nothing to do with when the program is launched it's when iclone or CC3 is running and the dipslay window within Iclone or CC3 is updating during a pan/ rotate or zoom, or playback is initiated the display window freezes for a second then lets go during each operation. The display port freezing/ hanging only started after the latest updates to Iclone 7.8 and CC3.3 it didnt do it before the update. What ever the Realusion update did it effected the way both Iclone and CC interacts with system graphics resourses. This is the issue You appear to be trying to fix an application hang in relation to a launch. So unless you ask me for information about the problem I reported the I'm afraid I cant help you

Did iClone always hang or only after launching iClone a moment?If always,please rename installation Plugin folder(Folder path: C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone 7\Bin64\Plugin), then launch iClone and try it again.If you don't install in default path,you can find installation folder by right-click iClone shortcut in desktop and pressing "Open File Location". Further update Unless a disk image is taken before updating users cant roll back iclone 7.8 CC3.3 as the restore method results in realusion products reporting initilsation failure. The conclusion here is that the realusion updates cause's the restore function to fail somehow
02/08/08 Further tests have reveiled that the freeezing also occurs during playback in both realtime and frame by frame. It also doesnt matter which version of character is used or how many assets are attached to a character. Tests by loading scenes created in earlier versions of Iclone and CC3 display the same fault
