Converting cloth to accessory, trimming and converting back to cloth does not work as expected

You guys rushed to mark that one as "Not a Bug" and now I cannot even reply to it.

Anyhow, the problem is still there, regardless what template I use and even if I use the same cloth as a template.

The only way to reinstate correct weights is to export as OBJ and import it back.
