It seems that Character Creator is quite eager to crash—whenever I attempt to download content, make changes to a character's hair, or use a morph, the app decides it's time to crash. Even characters purchased directly from your store are contributing to this delightful experience by causing the app to crash every single time.
To assist with troubleshooting, here are the order IDs for the problematic products:
Order ID: 11268250 – Stylized Toon Girls - Zoe Order ID: 11265123 – Cartoon Character Designer - Toon Figures Order ID: 11265123 – Cartoon Character Designer - Toon Hair Order ID: 11265103 – Character Creator 4 Just for reference, here are the specs of my machine, which is more than capable of handling such tasks:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz Installed RAM: 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable) System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor Operating System: Windows 11 Home Edition (24H2 Version, OS build 26100.2454) Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU 16.0 GB
Now, as for the characters, I couldn't help but notice that they seem to be imported from DAZ, which is a bit surprising given the premium pricing. Perhaps a little quality check before selling them would be a reasonable expectation?
And as for the morphs you are selling at a premium—well, let's just say the screenshots speak for themselves.
Update: I have updated the Nvidia drivers and switched from the Game to the Studio driver, which appears to have improved performance, as I’ve been able to work for two days without issues so far. However, I am still encountering a problem: when I select a bone in Character Creator, the software crashes, preventing me from adjusting the character's teeth.
Just happened on Toon Characters.
Interestingly, I’ve encountered the same issue when transferring a character from DAZ to Character Creator, which seems to suggest a recurring problem.
On the other hand, I was able to successfully import a character from VROID to Character Creator without any crashes or issues.
