Character Creator Crash
With the lastest update that was released last week, I encountered a bug that makes CC4 crash. For some reason, the latest release reset the UI and content manager for me, so I had to resync my assets again. It kept on crashing when I tried to do that until I figured out what was making it crash. It was the newer file format for the hair. The older one (cchair) loads just fine, but the newer one (rlhair) makes it crash. I even tried to change the format to (cchair), which helped in the synching process but still makes it crash when I try to apply the hair.

Another issue with the latest release is that I'm missing some morph sliders like head scale slider. For some reason, the content manager keeps making a "Reallusion Custom" inside the "Reallusion Custom" folder. It is set as a default path. I was able to create another path to track my assets which are in the Reallusion Custom folder and not Reallusion Custom/Reallusion Custom, which is still the default path. Not sure how I used to do it in the "regedit" before but I don't see the custom path location visible there only the cache locations. As a result, the morph sliders location was changed and I moved things around to get them to show in the software.

Hello Molly,

My custom UI got reset to the defult one, and similar to the other comment mentioned here about the UI not sticking and reverting back to the default one every time on startup. I got mine to stick somehow, so that issue is fixed. I also mentioned that I solved the issue with the morph sliders not showing up in the software because the default directly was changed to Reallusion Custom/Reallusion Custom, but I just moved things around and it works.

"The main issue is still the rlhair file format causing both CC4 and IClone 8 to crash." I have so many hair files that used to work and now they don't.

Now there is a workaround.Please cut your custom hair contents to another folder expect for Reallusion Custom folder,it will be OK.We will fix it as soon as possible.

custom hair folder path:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Reallusion Custom\Hair

I believe I may be having the same issues.  Everytime my CC 4.5 tries to sync custom files on its own, the program crashes.  There is also a weird custom within custom and my UI is altered and I can't get a fix back to stay.

I also forgot to mention that I did uninstall and reinstall the software through the Reallusion Hub software multiple times. Also, the (rlhair) used to load just fine, so it's not a currupted file and not just one file but quite a lot.
