Can we please Render as Gifs with or Without Sound?

Hi Team,
For those of us who need to deal with square or custom sized video formats (for websites etc), can you please include gif-rendering from CA5 with the next update if possible?

It's always been a bit of a pain having to load our CA5 renders into other 3rd party software when all we need to do is convert to gif.

And with so many of us opening Etsy, Amazon and other stores, it would be great if we could render our ads straight from CA5, please?

Go to render>render image>Format>GIF

DOH!! 

Thrilled to discover that we CAN already create an animated gif... but for some weird reason, it's in the still image menu with png's instead of video rendering. 

Feels a bit like filing avatars in a prop folder. lol... but thank goodness for our awesome facebook community who spotted the problem. But we are not sure why animated gif rendering is with the still images...

Is it because  gifs have no sound?
