As CTA crashes every now and then, it would be very useful having an autosave feature that lets me chose to make an autosave every few minutes so I don't lose my work all the time. I try to save often but then you are in the tunnel animating something you forget about that.

Please add that feature. Ideally it would create a folder next to the project file where it saves project files as "projectfilename.backup1" , "projectfilename.backup2" and so on. The user should be able to specify the number of copies. When it reaches the max number of copies, the earliest copy gets deleted in order to give room for the latest.
