Additionally to my previous post i am sending the RL_FBT_UserSystemInfo. IMPORTANT : CTA5.2 is not currently installed, i turned my system back manually in order to be able continuing with my CTA work. So the file may contain not what you expect. CTA5.2 is not currently installed and please understand i dont want to go through the whole manual restore again. I am glad i was able to retsore 5.12.
All Win7 Updates and runtimes are already installed. May i again point to a few links from the web clearly indicating that you are trying to access WIN 10 feature which WIN 7 cant handle. http://www.baiyujia.com/vfpdocuments/f_vfp9fix40.asp (Scroll down) https://github.com/ConfettiFX/The-Forge/issues/249 This can be handled by your DEV team only. There may be a solution, please hand this link over to your dev team. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40365627/missing-entry-points-in-user32-dll-stops-program-from-launching-c-vs2015 Please read the instructions of this link carefully, they may already contain a predifined solution. Please note, each test installl of cta5.2 results in a hell of registry and data backup recovering because CTA5.2 cant be just turned back to 5.12 (not unless you provide us with an information on how to do so)
I dont think these will work. GetDpiForSystem was introduced in win10 1607 and theres no way around it. Its a windows 10 feature as OP pointed out
Thank you for your feedback. Please try the following ways to see if the problem can be solved: 1) Go to the Start screen, type & search Windows Update. Then select "Check for updates" from the search list to check & install all important updates. 2) [Important] Make sure your system has installed the following updates: - Windows 7 sp1 + Platform Update (KB 2670838) https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=36805 3) Update your graphic card drivers to the latest version. - ATI: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download - nVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us - Intel: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ 4) Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from the below link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 Please make sure to install both files: "vcredist_x86.exe" and "vcredist_x64.exe". 5) After the installation, there is a DirectX 9 installer. Please install it. Despite your PC might has DirectX 9.0c already, you still need to install DirectX 9 installer again. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 6) Reboot your computer. 7) Execute the software as an administrator. 8) Reinstall Cartoon Animator 5 to check. https://www.reallusion.com/hub/ If the problem persists, re-extract the latest "RL_FBT_UserSystemInfo_Windows.zip" for us: - http://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Home/HowToGet Let us know when the error is popping out, during the program launch or other steps, if possible elaborate on the steps so that we can repeat it to check. Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions. Allen Reallusion
