Does adding the PRIME 15% discount to the Season of Savings 23% discount equal to a total savings of 38%? HOTThe application of these two discounts is consecutive rather than cumulative. This means that the 15% PRIME discount is applied following the Season of Savings 23% discount.
The calculation for savings is: purchase amount * 23% off * 15% off.
Consider the order expenditure of $100 for example:- $100 with 23% Season of Savings discount = $77.
- $77 with 15% PRIME discount = $65.45.
- The total savings is closer to 35% (not 38%) for a total of $34.55.
