Special collection of 8
helmets brodie Mark1 (WW1) with different textures preferred by the U.S. Army during its engagement in the
"Great War".Brodie helmet Mark1 is a modified model of the famous original English Brodie helmet designed and patented in 1915 by John Leopolds Brodie.
To know that a model of helmet was created by the American army and was rejected by the various commissions. It was thus accepted that the troops engaged had to use either the French Adrian helmet (for the regiments under French command) or the English "Brodie" helmet. The American troops engaged soon modified the original texture of the Brodie helmet to personalize it with "home-made" skins.
The 8 different skins are inspired by the original models including 82nd Airborne, 77th infantry "Liberty", US standard camouflage (inspired by German army helmet camouflage) as well as the original model in its "new" and "sand" condition with wear.
Two models are proposed: one with the strap fixed on the top of the helmet, and the other, helmet and the adjustable strap (with precise adjustment on or under the chin).
For best results and perfectly fit and animate your chin strap, please follow the easy and short following tutorial (in link below):
https://youtu.be/z2riTnoZh4EThe model takes into account the improvements made during the war and which were incorporated in the models supplied to the American army engaged in the conflict.
The interior is lined with an anti-friction leather band, padded with thick felt and the "1917" modification of the helmet incorporating a rubber element to absorb shocks at the top of the skull.
Note, the "fixed" version of the helmet is in "head accessory" mode, while the other (with the chin strap) has the properties of "Other" clothing.
