Invasion 2040 is a project that started in 2017. During that time I used different types of programs and render engines until August 2020, while working remotely in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, that we won the support of Reallusion’s Pitch & Produce program. It was then when we also began work with Unreal Engine, and when I involved two more artists from the studio.

Cinematic Director employs Character Creator, iClone & Blender in Epic Ancient Greece Film Project
Martin Klekner is a freelance director and CG artist from Prague, Czech Republic who is also a Blender specialist who has embarked on an ambitious project "Heroes of Bronze" where he will be creating his own CG short film project from the Ancient Greek era.
It will be a 3 minute CG animated short film, using Blender 2.8 and variety of other software, including Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Character Creator and iClone.

Pitch & Produce | Find A Way: Remotely Creating an Animated Music Video during Lockdown
The creative team at Brooklyn, NY based Hi From the Future (HFTF) found the challenge of the Covid-19 lockdown to come just as the music video “Find a way” for Duckwrth was taking shape. The HFTF Team met with the client over lots of group video calls and enlisted realtime technology from Reallusion and Epic Games to remotely collaborate over a 5 week production, completing the job and launching the official music video under unusual conditions.
Mark Rubbo, the creative director and co-founder of HFTF discussed their project for Duckwrth and detailed the complete behind the scenes in video with partner Elliot Higgins and the rest of the HFTF Team. All the communication and production were finished in remote team collaboration.
The team also spent time with Duckwrth; Alex Mali, Radio Ahlee & Bayli on each single meeting, to better understand the character's persona and their body movements. All these sessions paid off, and the team were able to capture the essence of each artist, transferring their personality into the dancing avatars. What starts as an animation exercise in Unreal Engine and ends up being crazy that turns into a fun animated short.
A personal project where I want to test modeling, animation, video editing, post-production and sound skills.
This project is developed mainly in Unreal Engine, using Ray Tracing technology to get the most out of real-time visualization and rendering.
And of course using Character Creator to design the characters, iClone to bring them to life and 3DXchange to import some external assets and animations.
