Hi ReMark3Dcz, Thanks for clarifying my guess. We will try to fix this issue ASAP. Sincerely, Weichien Reallusion
@WeiChien(RL) I just tried the same object with a moving figure in IC8 and the problem does not occur with Smooth Mesh on or with tessellation. The problem is only in CC4 and only with the Smooth Mesh feature enabled. Tessellatin in CC4 + motion Blur works without any problem. So only objects with Mesh Smooth enabled in CC4 produce Motion Blur rendering errors
@WeiChien(RL) Have a good day, I own IC8, but so far, as I wrote, this problem is in CC4. I will try it in IC8 today and let you know if motion blur errors appear there too. To try it, just download these products in trial version: problem with the scythe - https://marketplace.reallusion.com/rm3d-ratguy-clothes problem with shoes - https://marketplace.reallusion.com/rm3d-nord-warrior-338763 Anyway, you've figured out why the problem occurs. Smooth Mesh is applied to the problem objects. When I turn it off, the motion blur works fine. Does this mean that Motion Blur cannot be used for Smooth Mesh and Tessellation? Thank you very much, for now I will avoid using these functions when I want to use motion blur. But I hope this will not be the final solution and you will be able to solve this problem. Thank you very much for your fast and great support Have a nice weekend Martin Reznicek
Hi, Thanks for using iClone8. We are trying to reproduce your issue. Did you set Tessellation or Open Subdiv for the cloth which generate the abnormal motion blur result? Or did you give it a displacement texture? Sincerely, Weichien Reallusion
