Issue 5707
iClone Full-Screen Render optimization mode fails to hide the Iray panel
When you use the new iClone 7.41 feature to Render in "Full Screen" mode for improved performance, it leaves the Iray panel and Iray icon tray open.

This prevents true full screen mode, since the preview window does not stretch all the way across the monitor.

DESIRED RESULT:
The Iray panels should be "closed," just like all the others.

PICTURES:
1) I set to display ALL WINDOWS for demonstration purposes
2) You can see the Iray panels remain

ADDITIONAL NOTE:
This happens on both my Win7 desktop and my Win10 laptop.
OS: Windows 10

I am PLEASED to report that removing the "preset.ini" file (which allowed it to be recreated) SOLVED THE PROBLEM.

You may CLOSE this Issue.

Thank you.

Hi justaviking,

Please close iClone, and delete preset.ini in "C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\iClone\7.0\ICBasics".Then Reset Layout, try it again.

I forgot to make it clear that the "rendering" Viewport window does NOT fill the entire 1920x1080 screen as it should, so I am not getting the correct benefit of the "Full Screen Optimization" since the "Viewport" and the output resolution do not match.

If I *manually* close both the Iray panel AND the Iray toolbar, then the Full Screen works as it should. But of course I should not need to do that, which is why I reported this issue.

All OTHER panels seem to behave correctly. Just add the Iray panel and toolbar to the list of things to hide when rendering in this mode.

Thank you for the comment. Doing the "Reset" changes the result slightly, but I would still say it is NOT FIXED.

See attached pictures:
1) I did a Window --> Workspace --> Reset Layout
2) Although the Iray "panel" was gone, the Iray TOOLBAR REMAINED <----- Bad
3) If I then do any Iray work, such that the Iray panel is open, and docked normally like all others...
4) Now when I render using the Full Screen Optimization option, the IRAY PANEL REMAINS, per my original entry here <----- Bad

DESIRED RESULT:
BOTH the Iray panel and the Iray toolbar should be properly (completely) hidden, just like all the others, when you render with the Full Screen Optimization.
