Issue 6804
iClone Crashes at 75% when opening scene
When opening a specific project in iClone it keeps crashing... I have had a similar issue like the before. I deleted, re-animated, saved and now it is doing the same exact thing. I really DO NOT want to have to re-animate 3000 frames of animation, again.

Can I please just some help with this project opening issue!?

To avoid crashes of big scenes I'd highly recommend you increase your virtual memory settings to 30 GB on the hard drive iClone is installed to and to any drives you might be loading your projects from.

To try to open your scene, I would open a new iClone scene and set the render settings to minimal then try to open up your project. Although it might be a bug that Reallusion is looking into, I would definately check to see if it's a matter of iClone trying to access computer resources.

Did you remember how you create the last clip?

Hi brian_791177,

How large is your project file?
If the file size is larger than 4GB, please try the following hotfix and see if it works:

1. Make sure your iClone has updated to version 7.73
2. Download “LargeProjectHotfix.zip" here: https://bit.ly/33M3DjO
3. Unzip the downloaded file to your local drive.
4. Move to the extracted folder, right click on “IC7LargeProject.bat” and select Properties, check the Unblock box at the bottom of General tab.
5. Make sure iClone is closed.
6. Double click on “IC7LargeProject.bat” to apply the hotfix.

If the file size is less than 4GB or the hotfix not working, then we will need your project file to investigate what was going on.
Could you provide your project file for us to check?
You can upload it to any cloud storage, e.g. google drive, one drive. Put the file link to the next private comment.
Please also provide us the system information by following the instruction here: https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Home/HowToGet
We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope it can be sorted out soon.
