iClone 7 Continuios crashing
iClone 7 has been continuously crashing! ( Desktop Computer)

All drivers are up to date.

No crash reports created.

All popup's of crashes state:
"The instruction at (different code reference numbers) referenced memory at (different code reference numbers). The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program"

This has been going on for several weeks/months, I did not capture screen shots for all of the crashes. I would wait till it crashed at least 3 times before capturing a screen shot, so for each screen shot attachment I've provided there were at least 3 crashes for the same day or week.

This more or less started in Dec 2020 but not frequent enough that it really bothered me, all was good until AUG 2021 when they became more frequent and started to annoy me, then by 09/13/21 it would crash every time I would retry to continue on the same projects, which when crashed, Windows would crash also. So I went through the hideous task of reinstalling Windows hoping to get rid of this annoyance.

The only thing each project had in common was that they all were projects that I was working on for the "iClone Lip Sync Animation Contest"! and time is running out for me to get an entry ready!

I'm having the exact same issue. iC7 crashes every time I try to use the direct puppet tool. I have x3 CC3 characters in my scene and I turned off the physics but I still get the error message.

Hi Molly,

Here is the file. I tried creating new files from the original but had the same results.
Also, I don't have the "Private" check box option, as seen in your screenshot.

When you add comment,you can check "Private Comment".

Hi Molly,

It seems to be happening for any character. I'm now starting to have crashes when I jump to my in-point as well as when I use the any live animation tool.

How do I use "Private Comment"? I don't see any such features.

If only specific character,please provide your character file to us.You can use cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive to make the files available to us and put the link in your comment. You can use Private Comment if you want to keep it private.

If for all characters,please provide crash dump file to us.

When you see the crash dialog,don't close the it.
Step1: Open the Task Manager
Step2: Click the "Processes" tab
Step3: Right-click on the "iClone 7 AP"
Step4: Click the "Create dump file"

1. Once crash, try to find the dump file under
Step1: When the AP crashes, please do not close the crash dialog
Step2: Open the Task Manager
Step3: Click the "Processes" tab
Step4: Right-click on the "iClone 7 AP"
Step5: Click the "Create dump file"
