iClone 7.8 crashes with Load GUI Failed. Please Reinstall iClone 7.
I intalled the latest versions of iClone 7 (7.8), 3DXchange (7.7) and Character Creator 3 standard (3.3). 3DXchange and Character Creator 3 both load with no issue. iClone 7 I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and I get the same error every time. It occurs after getting the Please Wait message when trying to load iClone 7.

Hi Othellosmithly,

I'm sorry to reply you so late.I guess your iClone installation is incomplete,and it is missing some files.Please copy all files in "IC Full_1104" folder,and paste to the iclone instillation folder,eg "C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone 7".If you are not sure the instillation folder,please right-click iCone shortcut in your desktop,and press "Open File Location" button.You will find "\Reallusion\iClone 7" folder,please paste all files to here.

Thanks, Im able to launch the iclone.exe file in bin 64 folder smoothly. However, Im not sure what you mean by copy all the files to the iclone instillation folder. Which files exactly am I copying and where exactly this instillation folder found? Sorry I'm not much of a computer person.

Same problem after reinstall, but I'm not sure how to access the startup log

Please provide your startup log file to help us identify the problem. Attach the file in your next comment. If the file size is larger than 10MB, you can use cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive to make the files available to us and put the link in your comment. 

1. Rename iClone Plugin folder,folder path as below:
C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone 7\Bin64\Plugin

2. Download the zip file with the link below

3. Double click the "WER_ON.reg" to enable the dump and log recording.

4. Launch iClone.

And the startup log files here:
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\Reallusion\  OR   C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Reallusion\
