Zoom to Pointer Position
This is a simple zoom to the position of the pointer on the view screen. SketchUp uses this and it is very efficient and intuitive. It would help eliminate the usual zoom, move, zoom, move sequence. This would apply to ANY software that uses zoom.

This would be a very nice type of zoom to have. It makes scene navigation much faster!

I always enable this in Blender as well.
