Unreal Engine 4 exported animation looks fine in 3dXchange 7 but uses wrong rotation in iClone 7
I exported my animation from UE4 and imported it to iClone 3DXchange 7 and it seems fine. I converted it to a non-standard character and it plays back correctly in the viewport. When I send it to iClone 7 the animation rotation is wrong. The hands should be pointing down the Y-Axis but the body seems to be rotated roughly 40 degrees. Am I missing something in my settings? It might be the offset of the pelvis from the root bone?

The end goal is to create some modified animations for hip-fire and export back to UE4.

Thanks!

Hi micahpharoh,

If you check "Reset Motion Root Rotation",character will apply motion with current angle. If you uncheck "Reset Motion Root Rotation",the angle of the character will be the same as the unreal Motion.

You can know more from online manual:
