I prefer to run programmes offline, as I believe the sync process acts like a tracking system reporting program usage, which is an invasion of privacy Because of this IC8 halts the programme loading until i acknowledge that the sync is turned off.
I also run CC4 in offline mode, however CC4 loads without any Sync nags. So it seems that only CC4 respects a users preferences without nagging about a users choice.
This is a discontinuity between complementary programmes
If a user chooses to run in offline mode that really should be the end of it as my choice, Users shouldn't have to keep acknowledging a personal preference.
In anticipation of the response about the nag being helpful, As an individual I am capable of making my own decisions without assistance from an organisation that knows nothing about me. And I shouldn't have to constantly affirm my decision not to have my programme activity tracked by a third party
