Hi justaviking, Thank you for your suggestions. This issue can be set to "Not a bug" and we will add this new status to Feedback Tracker in the near future. Now we will set it to "Hold" temporarily. If you have any suggestions about Feedback Tracker, please feel free to submit issue to us, you can choose a random product and we will schedule a meeting after we collect enough info about it.
NOTE TO REALLUSION... We need a "Closed" status in Feedback Tracker for cases like this. A moderator should WRITE A REPLY that states why it's being closed, and set the status to CLOSED rather than leaving it as "Active." WHILE I'M AT IT... Reallusion should also add FEEDBACK TRACKER as a "PRODUCT" so we can make suggestions like this for Feedback Tracker in a proper place. Sorry about abusing your post, Bray. (I was going to post the same info as the others back in April 22, but the others beat me to it.) I hope you're having fun and success with Indigo. I going to write my own Indigo Feedback issue now. :)
This is not an iClone bug. As mentioned, in Indigo RT iClone lights are seen as physical objects, so that is where to issue is. I believe that in the full version of Indigo there is an option to make them invisible.
If you just put the lights out of camera view without deactivating, you will lose the chance to improve your rendering performance. The user guide says deactivate the iClone lights for best results.
Actually.. that's not a bug, if I recall correctly. It's a feature. You have to deactivate the iClone scene lights and use the default one provided by Indigo (Sun & Sky). Apparently a nice side effect of this is that your rendering time will be shortened as well. For more details pls refer to the online help which is accessible via the ic6 UI menu... Plugins-->iClone Indigo Render--> Online manual (Main topic: Iclone Lights.. Subtopic: Lighting for Indigo Rendering)
