Dialog windows not appearing - Composer mode, Project Settings, Text to Speech
When I select a character and click on the Composer button, nothing happens, same when I click the Project Settings button or access Project Settings from the top menu, or select Text to Speech (Record Voice works ok) . When I try to go on with working I get a Windows alert sound. This usually means a dialog is open. However I can't see the dialog or Composer mode, even after Alt+Tab through open windows.
If I hit the Esc key, it seems to 'close' the unseen dialog window and I can go on with working. I have tried rebooting my machine, but it has not made a difference. I have tried opening a different project file, same issues. I have tried moving from 2 monitors to one, same issue.
I upgraded to the recent patch "CTA410_Multi_Patch" yesterday to access the new features (import PSD as a scene), no issues yesterday.
Please help as soon as possible I'm on a deadline today!

Do you have two monitors? could the file dialog been dragged to the second monitor some time and leaved there?
If so, you can just drag it back from the second monitor. Or, you can delete the following registry key to restore all dialog positions to their default locations. Please find a friend who is familiar with the registry operation to help you if you don't know how to delete it.

Could you try only one monitor to use CTA?
There are some issues regarding the 4K monitor and dual monitor.
