Sampling Keyframes causes a key on every frame, killing performance.
When keyframes are sampled performance drops significantly. Selecting and deleting keyframes in the curve editor now results in a long wait where as previously it was instant.
Long pauses in Iclone happen too, even without the curve editor being open. This is happening for me on all clips, in scenes created by me and in default scenes that come with Iclone.
Edit: It seems that the slow down is caused by a SIGNIFICANT increase in the density of keyframes made when sampling clips. I checked animation compression levels to see if this was a possible factor. File sizes of saved animations have now gone up drastically and even the lowest animation compression level ("poor") is making animation files twice as large as 3dXchange 7.22. Leaving compression off made a 7.22 clip go from 2MB to 10MB in size.
I've attached a screen shot that shows my problem more clearly.
