In the past five years, there has been an explosion of avatar use on websites, instructional videos, social media, etc. All of these platforms require either a talking head or talking full body. They do not require the full 3D motion (running, jumping, shooting etc.).
There are a growing number of websites that create lip-syncing -- exactly what CrazyTalk does -- and they charge exorbitant prices. Clearly, there is a new market for CrazyTalk.
When you restart development, I recommendation the following improvements: • make CrazyTalk auto-fit to uploaded facial images • increase the working duration to 60 minutes • auto-set the number of frames to the audio duration • better selection of hair and facial accessories for avatars (realistic, not cartoonish) • better selection of clothing for avatars • a future release: include standing full body, and integrate hand and arm gestures (using hands while talking is natural)
