Issue 11894
Regarding suggestions for using 3ds Max Auto Setup
1.The FBX import in 3ds Max can be very slow due to the large number of materials. For projects that do not require high precision, this step might be overly cumbersome. It is suggested to add an option for "import without materials."
2.If I modify the material ball of a character, it directly causes the facial rig to fail. This is logically unreasonable because the facial rig should only be related to the mesh. If the lengthy import process cannot be modified, I hope there is a way to reduce the burden on the project file.
(Regarding points 1 and 2, in 3ds Max, everyone has different requirements for materials, and being limited to using preset materials for modifications can sometimes be inflexible.)
3.When modifying the Face Rig, Ctrl+Z is not supported. Adjusting it in 3ds Max is relatively difficult, so supporting Ctrl+Z is a compromise I believe to be a relatively optimal solution balancing technical implementation and usability.
4.In the CAT Rig, the direction of the bones at the tip of the index fingers on both hands is skewed, as shown in the image⬇️
(I know this is a niche plugin, so the above suggestions don’t necessarily need to be addressed. I hope the issue with the foot bones mentioned in my other article can be prioritized. Thank you to the development team for your hard work, and I wish you all happiness every day!)
