iClone is a very fine product. I've been a fan and user for a long time. It is obviously the result of years of hard work by many talented people. When users can't get a simple feature to work, or when they don't even know it exists, all because you have decided to forego professionally written documentation, you disrespect your own team and cripple your loyal users. The misdirected idea that your online forum and a bunch of marketing videos can replace tech docs is ludicrous. We all spend a year to learn what we should learn in an hour. How many long-term users do you lose because they can't guess how to use your product? Many, I'll bet.
Stop short-changing your users. Make friends with the printed word. Everyone will benefit, including you.
