PopcornFX is Event Driven. When will the present PopcornFX get the update ?

Just inquiring as to by when will PopcornFX become Event Driven. Most Present Day Particle Effects are Event Driven. I am sure PopcornFX will soon get the update ? Any development timeline update ?
