Please extend Pose Mixer to mix animaation data also.
After watching Kai's tutorial on the Pose Mixer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku4gt7g1QgA) I started playing with it and immediately ran into trouble. I have an existing sitting inmation and I used the Pose Mixer to select only the arms, then added another animation into the mix (a Standing Arms Criossed responnse from the MixMoves 200 Communications pack) and the character transitions from sitting to standing, which was NOT expected.

I now see that the Pose Mixer is literally named. You cannot mix in another animation, you MUST mix in only a pose, then the masking works as advertised. I think it would be a great addition to have the Pose Mixer also support animations. In my example at the top, only the arm animation would be copied into my motion timeline and the remaining animation data would be untouched.

Has anyone else dealt with this before? Is there a better approach for me to use when mixing animations?

1. Apply the aforementioned standing motion to the character.
2. On Timeline, open the Motion Track of the character, right click on the motion clip and then choose the command: Remove Motion > Head, Torso, Right Leg and Left Leg.
3. Open the Pose Mixser.
4. Choose only the Head, Torso, and both Legs since they are now still as rock.
5. Apply the sitting pose.

Now you have a sitting pose mixed up with the standing-arm-only motions.

Hi jeff.davies,

Pose Mixe only supports poses, not animations. It can only be adjusted through existing motion. This tutorial for your reference:
