Plane with displacement map wobbles when rotated in Preview mode
I discovered this in a project I had been working on, but was able to reproduce the issue using a simple scene, which is attached (displacement_issue.zip).
The scene consists of a plane sized to 900% with a displacement map. The displacement map is a noise image, tiled 10 times.
Other settings: Tessellation Level and Multiplier 10.
I have added a cone to indicate the center (0, 0, 0).
In the scene, the plane is rotated, which then results in "wobbling" in Preview. This is also present when rendering in Preview, but not in Final render.
I tried this again with 7.41 and the issue remains. However, I did find a possible cause.
In the Preference settings, I had LOD enabled. Disabling this resolved the problem. So apparently there is interference between LOD and displacement.
