In an attempt to make long duration Idle actions for characters in the background, I created a Persona with a PerformCommand which sequences many ClipSeq AnimationClips. I believe the Persona AML file is created correctly. If I open it in the AML Script Editor the editor accepts it and shows all the ClipSeq AnimationClips in the PerformCommand.
However, when I import the Persona to a character in iClone and then use the Perform action, the Perform action plays only the first few AnimationClips and then ends.
Is there a limit on the number of ClipSeq that a PerformCommand can have in iClone6? If not can you please have a look at the following Persona file and tell me if my creation of the Persona file is incorrect. For example, can repeated ClipSeq reference the same AnimationClip or do they need to reference a new copy of the AnimationClip?
I have included a sample Persona file with such a long PerformCommand. I have renamed it to include a TXT extension to allow it to be attached but, obviously, when I try to use it in iClone it does not have the TXT extension.
Hi Lord Ashes,
In order for us to fix the issue, we need to be able to reproduce it. For this we need a precise description of what you did so that we can clearly follow your actions and recreate the same situation.
Here is an example to help you get started:
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click the product’s icon on the Desktop or Start Menu
2. Wait for it to launch
3. Navigate to Content Manage > Project
4. Select a random project and click on “Apply”
5. See whether that project can successfully be applied
ACTUAL RESULTS
The project can’t be applied
EXPECTED RESULTS
The project can be applied
Thank you very much for your understanding.
