Non human and prop IK in motion layer no longer works
When using the motion layer with a character that has a standard Reallusion skeleton, the HumanIK allows for easy IK animation.

There was a procedure for assigning IK on the fly for other types of skeletons, but that does not work anymore.

Steps:

Load Mechrex, or other non-human character.
Open motion layer panel.
CNtrl-click on a bone at the base of the tail. (bone will highlight blue)
Click on a bone at the end of the tail. (bone will highlight yellow)
Select the transform gizmo.
Move the the bone.

The expected behavior is that there will be an IK chain from the yellow to the blue bone, and moving the yellow bone will drag the rest of the bones in the IK chain, until the blue bone is reached.

But when the yellow bone is moved, the entire model just distorts.

Thanks Wires! :)

Guess I should have scrolled down the page a bit more. Hopefully my additional content will help track it down faster.

This does effect both props and non-human characters, as they use the same motion layer tool.
